Matt is a power forward who can also play the center spot. Won the Robert Staunton Medal for being the outstanding player at the Under 20 National Championships in 2001 and called to the Australian Under 20 National Team. Named the Most Improved Player in the Australian National Basketball League in 2003, when helped the Perth Wildcats gain the NBL Finals and was called to the National Team. Also attended the Big Man Camp at Treviso the same Year. Signed with the Melbourne South Dragons in 2006 for three years and won the NBL regular season in 2009.
