Yanez is one of the best shooting small forward of the entire Spanish ACB. He is a tall smooth small forward with long harms. He measures 6.8". He runs the floor very well and has a great shooting technique. On defence he is perfect to guard the opposing small forwards. He understands the game and he is very coachable. Over the years Ignacio has developed into a stable strong ACB player. In 2004 he was selected as the most improved player of the ACB. Signed for the 2007-2008 season with Leon.Finished the 2008-09 season with CB Illescas Urban in the LEB Gold League.
