Bergamo Basket 2014 (Italian Serie B) strengthened their roster with addition of 25-year old point guard Giulio Mascherpa . He played most recently at Orsi Derthona Basket Tortona in the Serie A2. In 38 games he recorded 3.8ppg and 1.8rpg last season. Serie B will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time. Mascherpa helped them to end the regular season as a second best team in the league.The previous (15-16) season he played at Basket Lecco where in 29 Serie B games he averaged impressive 18.1ppg, 3.8rpg and 3.7apg.Mascherpa has played previously for three other teams: Unieuro Forli, Pavia Basket and Francavilla.
