Minas (Brazilian NBB) added to their roster 29-year old American swingman Billy Rush. He played last season at Cape Breton Highlanders in Canadian NBL. In 21 NBL Canada games he recorded 12.3ppg, 8.5rpg, 2.5apg and 1.1spg. Rush also played that season for IRT Tanger (D1) in Moroccan league where in 21 games he averaged 12.3ppg, 8.5rpg and 2.5apg.He was voted All-NAIA D1 3rd Team back in 2010 at his college time.Rush is quite experienced player. Thanks to his pro career he managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Africa and of course North America) in four different countries. Rush has played previously professionally also in Germany (Uni Baskets and Science City Jena), NBA G League (Oklahoma City Blue) and IBA (Kankakee S.).He attended Robert Morris College until 2010 and it will be his eighth season as a professional player.The scouts decsribe him following way: A solid forward who is a great shooter and can dominate the boards in a lot of leagues. Also possesses a defensive tenacity that is unmatched. Billy can play a stretch 4 man or an oversized 3 man that can cause matchup problems for opposing teams.
