Marco is one of the most talented big men in Europe and the NBA scouts are already following him. Can play the 4 and the 5 positions, runs well the court, passes the ball well; has the athletic skills to become a star player in a year or two, but needs to improve defensively and to add experience and playing time. A great athlete and very coordinated for his age and size. Runs the floor well and has good feet. Has a good touch on his shot which lets him move outside and play power forward. He has improved his inside moves in the paint. Because of his good jumping ability, he is a big threat as a shot blocker. He just needs to play and gain experience. Played on the Italian Under 20 National Team in 2003 and was promoted to the Italian National Team the next year. Signed with the top Italian Legadue club Soresina in 2007/08, in which he played also the following season.
