A true "sleeper". Kelsey attended Purdue University for his first two years of school. Was then thought of as one of the best players in America. After two years at Purdue, Kelsey transferred to the University of Illinois in Chicago where he reignited his career. His Senior season was one that had a lot of people in college basketball talking about him. On a team where he was the primary focal point of the offense and opposing trams' defense, he averaged 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. He posted 38 points 8 rebounds and 5 assists against Wagner, 31 points 6 rebounds and 3 assists against SMU, and 21 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists against the University of Illinois. Kelsey's stats do not depict the type of player he is. He is one of the most athletic players there is, and his length makes it difficult for him to be guarded and makes hmi a great defender. He can not only score, but is a natural point guard with great passing skills.
