Ante is a warrior with experience at Europe's highest level. Has competed in the Euroleague and the Saporta Cup with Split. One of the best defensive players in the continent. Always in position to take a charge, get a steal, recover a lost ball or cover for a teammate. Plays much bigger than his height because his heart is much bigger than the average player. Will outwork any opponent. Effective scorer on the block and can shoot the foul line jumper or begin a series of one on one moves from there. Might be the toughest Croatian born basketball player ever. At the beginning of his career he has replaced an injured Aris Mujezinovic in Lugano and played there for a two months period in which he also competed in the Saporta Cup. Had 18 rebounds versus Darussafaka in the Cup. Ranked 10th in the Suproleague in rebounding. The following season he has moved to Italy with Avellino in the Italian A1 leading the league in rebounding. Played with Novo Mesto in 2003/04. Returned to Split for the 2004/05 season. The next year he first played with Montegranaro and than helped Scafati gain a promotion and finished the year with Aris. Played for Aek in the 2006/07.  He has had  such a great end of the season with Aek that he has become an hero also in Greece. Signed again for the 2007/08 season in the same league with Olimpias Patron. The 2008/2009 season Ante moved back to KK Split in the Croatian first league, while the following year he played in the Cypriot Div A with Etha. His team finished third in the regular season and reached the semifinals of the playoffs. Last season he came back to Croatia for the third time, joining KK Split again.
