A very athletic and powerful inside player, who can score and rebound; has become a star in European Leagues. One of the best rebounders in the history of college basketball, Erwin led the SEC in boards for three straight seasons. The SEC Player of the Year in 2002, Dudley is viewed as a solid NBA potential player. Rare among US college players in that he has a solid grasp of fundamentals: footwork and form. Possesses an advanced low post game, with a baby hook from both sides. Can face and shoot foul line extended. Great shooting percentages for his entire career. Very good defender: Keeps his position well, and uses his strength to out-muscle opponents. Named to the All-SEC Team (AP and Coaches) for three seasons. Sat out the 2003-04 season because of a leg injury. Came back strong in the 2004-05 season with Rishon Le-Zion in Israel. He was the league's leading rebounder and one of the top scorers. Moved to Turk Telekom in 2005 where he is still playing and truly dominating the Turkish League. He is at the present moment considered as one of the best inside US players in all of Europe.
