Current Statistics

A very promising player with great offensive skills, who runs the court well and who can easily hit a 3 pointer. He is the typical streak shooter, who can win a game by himself the night he' s hot. Despite his height, he's more a SG than a SF. Has both a USA and Mexican passport. After graduating as the best player of UNLV. He was the leading scorer of the Mexican national team at the past Pre Olympic Tournament when he also scored 30 pts against the Dream team defended by Kobe Bryant. In Europe he is had a great impact in the first Italian division and he was one of the best guard/small forward of the entire league. He is proving that he can play at any level in Europe and make the difference. He is still very young and he could also make it to the NBA. He signed in Capo D Orlando in the Italian A1 league for the 2007-2008 season. Playing in the Mexican LNBP league for the 2008-2009 season. He has signed with Zadar during the 2008-2009 season. However, do to incomprehension between the player and the coach (Aleaxander Petrovic) the player decided in mutual agreement with the Club to leave Europe for the competitive D-League. Romel attended the 2009 NBA veteran camp with San Antonio Spurs. The following season he kept playing in the D-League with the Dakota Wizards. In the summer he moved to Venezuela, then started the 2010/11 season in Italy with Trendwalker Reggio Emilia.
