Rookie Devoe Joseph signs with Khimik-OPZ Yuzny

Devoe Joseph, the Toronto native and former Oregon shooting guard has signed his first deal overseas with the Ukranian superleague club, Khimik-OPZ Yuzny.

The 6-4, 180-pound Joseph played his final collegiate season for the Ducks after transferring from Minnesota.  This Season The Ducks had a different look with Joseph leading the way, as the team improved to 22-9, earning the third spot in the Pac-12 Conference, a vast improvement from the 21-18 record and seventh place finish last season. In only one season he was able to emerge as a leader for the Ducks this season. Despite coming off the bench early in his Oregon career, Joseph worked his way into the starting lineup after just two games with the Ducks. By the time the season was over, Joseph averaged a team-high in points and played nearly five more minutes per game than any other player on the team. Joseph managed to take his game to the next level and was named to the Pac-12's All-Conference First Team this season. This summer he was also invited to Las Vegas Summer League, where he shot the lights out in five games with the raptorsí summer league squad.
