Fileni BPA Jesi (Italian Serie A2) inked 20-year old Georgian international forward Giga Janelidze. He has a double citizenship as he also holds Italian passport. Janelidze played most recently at Mec-Energy Roseto (Serie A2). In 30 games he recorded 6.8ppg and 5.5rpg last season. The most of previous (2013-14) season he spent at Milano Urania (Serie B). In 25 games he averaged 5.1ppg and 5.2rpg in 2013-14 season. Janelidze also spent pre-season at Assigeco Casalpusterlengo that year. He received Italian U17 Championships 1st Team All-Star award back in 2011. Janelidze was called to Georgian Senior National Team this year.He has played previously for another Italian team Rimini.
