Swiss Forward Lea Favre put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for top-ranked La Spezia, receiving a Italian Serie A2 Player of the Week award for round 3.
The 26-year old player had a double-double of 19 points and 17 rebounds, while her team crushed Roma (#9, 1-2) with 18-point margin 79-61. It allowed La Spezia to take over top position in the Italian Serie A2. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but La Spezia already had a very good start winning all 3 without losing a single one. Favre turned to be La Spezia's top player in her first season with the team. Former Rider University star has very solid stats this year. Favre is in league's top in rebounds (2nd best: 12.7rpg).
