Makye Richard, the 6.2" American guard who made a name for himself in the Iraqi Superleague, has recently signed with Al-Arabi Sporting Club in Kuwait. 

Richard had an impressive college career playing for Xavier University of Louisiana. His skills quickly caught the attention of the Iraqi basketball league, where he was signed by Ghaz Al-Shamal. During his time there, Richard proved to be an asset to the team with his impressive performance on the court. On his last season at  Xavier University of Louisiana he collected 16.3ppg, 5.4rpg and 2.8apg in 30 games. With his team he won the GCAC Tournament Winner in 2020 and 2021, receiving a personal NAIA All-America Honorable Mention on both seasons.
