Miami Heat tabbed 28-year old swingman Reggie Williams. He signed a one-year contract. Williams played in the summer at San Miguel Beermen in Filipino PBA league. In 10 games he averaged impressive 29.1ppg, 9.2rpg, 5.3apg and 1.4spg. The last (13-14) season he played at Oklahoma City Thunder. Williams also played at Tulsa 66ers in D-League that season. In 25 games he had very remarkable stats: 20.2ppg, 5.7rpg, 4.9apg and 1.6spg. He also spent pre-season at the Rockets that year.
In 2012-13 season Williams played at the Hornets. In 39 games he had 3.7ppg, 1.3rpg and 1.0apg.
In 2011-12 season he played at Laboral Kutxa (Liga Endesa) in Spanish league. In 7 games he had 4.9ppg and 1.3rpg. Williams also played 3 games in Euroleague where he had 5.3ppg, 1.0rpg and 1.0spg.
Williams attended Virginia Military Institute and it will be his seventh season in pro basketball. Among other achievements his team made it to the Spanish ACB final in 2012. Williams received also USBasket.com All-D-League 1st Team award back in 2010. He has played also professionally in France (JDA Dijon), other NBA teams (Golden State Warriors, Houston Rockets and Charlotte Hornets) and other D-League teams (Sioux Falls Skyforce).
