6'10” forward Mohammed Abukar has re-signed with the BC Lugano Tigers in the Switzerland LNA League for the 2009-10 season. He played for the Tigers in the play-offs last year, where he averaged 19.1 ppg, and 5.9 rpg while shooting 45.5% from the “3”. Mohammed started last season in the D-League and had a high of 36 points in just 23 minutes with the Idaho Stampede. He will have the help under the basket this coming season with 6'10” Byron Sanders and 7'0" Scott VanderMeer.
