Newly promoted Irish Superleague team Sligo All Stars decided to reinforce its roster by signing  American 6.7 Power Forward Gregory Poleon. Gregory is a product of Pace University, where he graduated in 2019, averaging 12.3ppg, 6.1rpg, and 1.2apg in his senior year. As a rookie, he started playing in the UK NBL D1 for Hemel Storm in 2019 where he played for the past 3 years. Last season he's been the third-best scorer and rebounder of the championship with 22.7 ppg and 10.6 rpg, being named also All-British NBL Division One Player of the Year -2021.
