The international talent Virgil Stanescu had an incredible game for Staua CSM against ninth ranked BC Timisoara in the Romanian first league.  The 6'10" power forward netted 37 points  and 5 rebounds in 37 minutes on the field.

 BC Timisoara will meet bottom-ranked Farul Const  in the next round while Steaua CSM will play against the league's second-placed Ploiesti.
