Aomori Watts were not able to use a home court advantage and  were defeated by  the opponent from Sendai 103-85 on Saturday night. The guests trailed by 10 points after first quarter, but they stormed back and won the game by 18 points. Sendai 89ers dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Aomori Watts' 32. They outrebounded Aomori Watts 38-22 including a 26-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Sendai 89ers shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 57.1 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American guard  Wendell White orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 38 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists (perfect from downtown making all five shots), for a final evaluation score of 49.
Sendai 89ers will have a break next round. Aomori Watts will play again at home against Sendai 89ers and hope to win that game.
