Aaron Doornekamp selected the top Canadian playing abroad in last week's games
This week's number one is former international forward Aaron Doornekamp. He led CB Canarias to a victory over the closely-ranked FC Barcelona (22-10) 73-65 in the Spanish Liga Endesa in Thursday night's game. Doornekamp was MVP of the game. He scored 20 points, had 6 rebounds and dished 4 assists (went 5 for 5 at the free throw line) in 36 minutes on the court. Iberostar Tenerife CB Canarias (22-10) is placed fifth in the Liga Endesa. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row.
