Al Wasl Dubai inks Assane Sene
Senegalese native Assane Sene will continue his basketball journey after securing himself a lucrative contract at Dubai based sporting club Al Wasl, the biggest sporting club in the United Arab Emirates.
The 7ft center began his basketball journey after leaving the SEEDS Academy in Senegal. He received a scholarship to South Kent High School, (alongside Matthew Bryan Amaning). After receiving interest from many collegiate powerhouses, Sene decided to sign a four year scholarship to Virginia where he graduated 2012.
