ALBA Berlin adds Kyle Weaver

ALBA Berlin announced signing of Kyle Weaver for the next season. The American guard heads to Germany from Charleroi, where he finished 2010/11. Weaver joined them in April averaging 7.5 points and 3.7 rebounds for 11 games. He helped Charleroi defend the Belgian league title. Kyle Weaver started last season with the Oklahoma City Thunder, but didnt appear in any official game. He played 9 games for Austin Toros (NBDL) registering 13.2 ppg, 5.9 rpg and 2.5 apg. In April, Weaver got a 10-day deal with Utah Jazz collecting 5.6 ppg, 2 rpg and 1.4 apg for five games.
'Kyle Weaver is a very versatile player. His normal position is the shooting guard position, but he can also play point guard or small forward. He has the ability to create shots for his teammates or himself and he is a superb defender', warned Alba Berlin head coach Gordon Herbert.
