Talented Aleksandr Yanev had an amazing evening in the last round for Cherno More and that's him to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 13.
The 21-year old power forward had a double-double of 26 points and eleven rebounds, while his team edged out Spartak Pleven 88-84. Cherno More maintains the 5th position in Bulgarian NBL.
In the team's last game Yanev had a remarkable 55.6% from 2-point range and got four three-pointers out of 8 attempts. He turned to be Cherno More's top player in his first season with the team.
Yanev has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (3rd best: 17.4ppg), rebounds (3rd best: 9.6rpg) and averages solid 65.9% FGP and 42.3% from behind 3-point line.
