Yesterday night Cimberio Varese grabbed a very significant home victory in the game for the third place against Canadian Solar Virtus Bologna. Fundamental for Varese was the 6'6” small forward Alex Righetti that took a little revenge, by scoring 21 points against his former team.
“Have been said so many things in the last week, but the most important thing was to win again and, moreover I'm particularly satisfied cause I've played a good game." said Alex. "Before stepping on the field I told everyone that this was not going to be a normal game. And it hasn't been so. This team is having great results because it plays very hard having at the same time fun.”
Alex also added 4 rebounds and 1 assist in 25 minutes, for a final valuation index of 20. Cimberio Varese stays at third position having just two points less than the leader Armani Milano, while CS Bologna on the other side took fourth place as they recorded their third loss. The next round for Varese will be against Lottomatica Roma.
