Alex Righetti joins Ferentino
Alex Righetti will continue his career in the Italian LegaDue. The former National Team swingman penned a 1-year deal with Ferentino.
Righetti heads to his new club from Otto Caserta, where he had 9.7 ppg and 3.9 rpg for 27 SerieA games last season. In 2010/11, Righetti played for Varese collecting 7.2 ppg and 2.7 rpg for 31 games. Before Varese, he was a member of Canadian Solar Bologna (La Fortezza), Avelino, Lottomatica Roma and Rimini. In 2009 with La Fortezza Bologna Righetti won EuroChallenge title.
With Italian NT Alex Righetti won the Bronze at 2003 EuroBasket in Sweden. He also played in 2001 and 2005 European Championships. In 2004, Righetti played for Italy at the Olympic Games in Athens.
