Alexander Fomin signed with Paks for the rest of the season
As the deadline in Hungary is getting closer day by day, the most of the teams try to strenghten their roster and fill up the open import spots. Even the management of Paks decided to sign a fifth import and agreed with Alexander Fomin for the rest of the season. The 30 years old, 206 cm tall russian forward arrived today to the country and will play his first official game next week against Kecskemet. Fomin started his carreer with the Junior Team of CSKA Moscow in 2002 and played mainly in the leagues of the countries of Ex-Sowjetunion as Russia and Belarus. During the season 2013-14 he played for Spartak Primorie Vladivostok and averaged 10.6ppg, 4.3rpg, FGP: 57.1%, 3PT: 35.6%, FT: 82.9% in 36 games of the Russian Superleague. He spent the last season with Dynamo Moscow in the same competition and helped his team with 11.1ppg, 4.1rpg in 38 games. He started this season with the same team, but moved to BK Burevestnik Jaroslav in the second division and run a great season puting up 19.8 points, 7.7 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 32.0 minutes on the court.
