Alona Kovtun has signed with Samnium Basket Benevento in Italy's Serie B. The Ukrainian guard, who holds a Bosman B passport, spent last season between KB Teuta in Albania's Superliga and Golfobasket Alcamo in Serie B, totaling 14 appearances. In Albania, she averaged 4.6 points, 3.0 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 1.1 steals per game, with a 45% shooting from the field. A former Ukrainian Higher League Champion (2021), Kovtun brings international experience and playmaking skills to the Benevento backcourt.
