Amazing game for Young, Ebanks and Keenan
A very interesting game took place in Arecibo. It ended with only two-point defeat on the road of 9th ranked Atleticos (8-14) to fourth ranked Capitanes 81-79 on Sunday evening. The hosts were ahead by 5 points but lost the second period ending it with a 1-point deficit before their 22-19 run, which allowed them to win the game. It was an exceptional evening for the American forward Anthony Young who collected 25 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side. American forward Devin Ebanks came up with 24 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import power forward Justin Keenan added 20 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Atleticos.
Defending champion maintains fourth place with 11-11 record. Atleticos at the other side keep the ninth position. Capitanes' next round opponent will be Leones (#5) in Juana Diaz. Atleticos will play on the road against Caciques (#8) in Humacao and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
