The Bulgarian shooting guard Dimitar Angelov has signed a deal with PBC Lukoil Akademik Sophia. Dimitar, who is often considered the best player in Bulgaria, has already played in Sophia with two others teams, BC CSKA Sophia and BC Levski Ekopetroulium Sophia.
The 2008 Swedish Basketligan regular season Champion Sundsvall Dragons has inked 6.1" guard Olivier Ilunga. Olivier has both Swedish and Congolese passports and last year played with Cypriot team EKA AEL Limassol, with which he won the Cyprus Super Cup 2007.
