One of the best performers of the Bulgarian NBL was definitely  Dimitar Dimitrov of league's leader Lukoil Acad.. Dimitrov scored 24 points and grabbed five rebounds. He was a key player of Lukoil Acad., leading his team to a 86-65 easy win against Akademik Plovdiv . Lukoil Acad. have amazing season winning all 11 games without a single defeat. Dimitrov turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. Dimitrov has a very solid season. In 11 games in Bulgaria he scored 12.4ppg. He also has 4.5rpg, FGP: 62.1% and 3PT: 42.9%.
Lukoil Acad. will play against Beroe (#3) in Stara Zagora in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Academik Plovdiv will play on the road against Chernomorets (#10) in Burgas and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
