Another good week for our Women players
Once again
our women clients brought us some really great news. First of all Sopron won the Hungarian cup. The
team played the final against Gyor which the day before had won the
"war" against PEAC. Rita Rasheed helped her team with 17 points in
the winning match against PEAC.
In the final game, Anna Lakloth scored 13 points for Gyor, Rasheed added another 9, but unfortunately for them it wasn't enough. Zsofi Fegyverneky (in the picture) led constantly the pace for Sopron and bringing them easily to victory. She ended up being named MVP.
Dora Horti's Wisla started the polish play-offs with 2 road games against Bydgoszcz. They lost one and won the other one, where Horti scored 13 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. They'll move to Krakkow for the next games.
BC Sepsi made a surprise win again, beating the Euroleague Top 16 team, Tragoviste. Tabytha Wampler added a double double with 11 points and 13 rebounds while Milica Ivanovic scored 22 points included 4 threes.
Crvena Zvezda couldn't surprise the favorite Partizan Belgrade in the Serbian semi-finals, but our young talent, the 19 years old Natasa Kovacevic collected 17 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists in the first game and almost double double in the second one, with 15 points and 8 rebounds.
Earlysia Marchbanks had an amazing evening in the last round for Kerava and received the Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 36. She had a double-double of 32 points and 18 rebounds.
