Antanas Kavaliauskas signs with Prima Veroli
The Italian LegaDue league team Prima Veroli has signed a two years deal with the 6'10 Lithuanian center Antanas Kavaliauskas. Antanas arrived in Europe in 2007, after having played at the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament and in the Las Vegas Summer League with the Houston Rockets. He joined the Panionios Forthnet Athens in the Greek first league. The following year the Center remained in Greece where he played for the A1 team Kavala/Panorama, averaging 10,8 points per game and 5,5 rebounds.
Last season Antanas played in the Italian top league with Pepsi JuveCaserta, which arrived second in the SerieA standings.
The team is confident that the Lithuanian player, wearing the yellow-red jersey, will help Prima Veroli to gain the SerieA spot that last season the team shortly missed.
