The well known Anthony King has been naturalized as a Cypriot. We all know Anthony King from his service in Etha during the years 2009-2011 with which he won a champ and a cup. Last year King was transferred in Germany's Artland Dragons which he helped landing the 4th place, averaging 10 pts and 6 rebounds.
Anthony king will join the rest of the team soon and will help the Cyprus National team's effort. The National team has begun practicing for the eurobasket qualifiers under the supervision of new coach Antonis Constantinides. Eurobasket final phase will take place in Slovenia.
In the qualifiers, the team will battle in the 3rd group against Croatia, Ukraine, Hungary, and Austria. Preparation has begun on the 1st of May and will be concluded in two phases. Preparation will be intensified in July with the basic training taking place after the 29th of June.
Games will take place between the 15th of August and 11th of September. The schedule is as follows:
