The Artland Dragons announced today that Anthony King will remain a Dragon. King is a 27 year old 206cm forward from Durham, North Carolina that recently got the Cypriot citizenship. King who leraned his basketball expertise at Miami (NCAA) will play his third season in the Beko BBL and second with Quackenbruck. Last season after having played two successful season in Cyprus, he returned back to the Beko BBL to Artland and played EuroCup Qualifications: 2 games: 3.0ppg, 4.0rpg, 1.0bpg; EuroChallenge: 14 games: 10.8ppg, 6.4rpg, 1.7apg, FGP: 62.0%, FT: 81.8%; German League: 36 games: 9.9ppg, 5.9rpg, 1.1apg, 1.1bpg, FGP: 57.0%, 3PT: 25.0%, FT: 80.2%. "I am happy that Anthony will return. He was a very stable factor last season and responsible for our sucess. He will give us even more stability this season. He is a role model, accepts his role and is very effective", stated Artland Dragons head coach Stefan Koch. King is the fourth Dragon to remain after Johannes Strasser, Christian Hoffmann and Guido Grnheid
