Last Tuesday has been an important night since the EuroChallenge regular season is ending and teams are trying to book a spot for the Top 16 stage. That's why InterCollege Etha Engomis decided to play its best cards, putting on the field the 6'9” powerforward/center Anthony King. Anthony joined Etha last season, where he brought the team to the Cypriot semifinals and, most of all, he helped Etha to reach the EuroChallenge regular season, for the first time in the team's history.
In Tuesday's last game against Pinar Karsiyaka SK Izmir, Anthony had 27 points, seven rebounds, five blocks and four steals, numbers that will make him a serious contender for player of the week honors.
Next Monday Etha will meet BC Zadar in the last regular season game in Croatia.
