Anthony King To Strap On An Artland Dragons Jersey For A Third Season
Anthony King will be starting his sixth professional season soon and it will be with the Artland Dragons as they have kept him for a third season. King has never played longer for a team than with Artland besides the Miami Hurricanes in the NCAA, but as a pro, he played as a rookie in Frankfurt and then two seasons in Cyprus.
King is a 28 year old 206cm center from Durham, North Carolina that improved his scoring, rebounding, assists and field goal percentage last season in comparison to his freshman campaign in Quackenbruck. Last season he played 36 games: 10.8ppg, 6.4rpg, 1.5apg, FGP: 52.2%, FT: 79.4%; EuroCup: 5 games: 11.4ppg, 5.8rpg, 1.0bpg, FGP: 53.7%, FT: 72.2%. 'Anthony is a very hard worker and has improved in his five years each season.I am sure that he will continue to develop', stressed Artland Dragons head coach Tyrone Mccoy.
