AS Apollon Patras (Cypriot A1) inked 32-year old Bosnian -international power forward Dejan Cup. He has a double citizenship as he also holds Bosnia and Herzegovina passport. Cup played most recently at Apoel in Cypriot Division A. In 27 games he averaged 8.9ppg, 4.4rpg and 1.2apg last season. He helped them to win the supercup and make to league final.
Cup ended the previous (2013-14) season at Igokea (Division I) in Bosnia and Herzegovina league. In 9 games he had 6.6ppg and 3.9rpg. But the most of that year he spent at Petrolina AEK Larnaca (Division A) in Cyprus. In 13 games he had 9.8ppg, 4.5rpg and 1.4apg. He contributed to his team ending the regular season as at the second position in the league. A very good season in his career as he was selected to Eurobasket.com All-Cyprus League 2nd Team.
In the 2012/13 season Cup played at Etha (Division A) in Cypriot league. In 22 games he had 12.0ppg, 5.5rpg, 1.5apg and 1.0spg. He contributed to his team winning the cup and make to league final. It was a very successful season in his career as he was selected to Eurobasket.com All-Cyprus League All-Bosmans Team. Cup also played 5 games in FIBA Europe Cup where he had 11.6ppg, 3.6rpg and 1.0spg.
Among other achievements he won Bosnia and Herzegovina League championship title in 2014. Cup was a member of Bosnian Senior National Team back in 2005. He has played previously professionally in Slovenia (Maribor and Elektra) and Bosnia (Orlovi).
