Carpegna Prosciutto Basket Pesaro (Italia Serie A) signed 33-year old Italian international point guard Ariel Filloy. He is a dual citizen owning also Argentinian passport. Filloy played last season at Umana Reyer Venezia in the Serie A. In 20 games he had 4.2ppg, 1.3rpg and 1.2apg. Filloy helped them to win the cup and make to league final. He also played 15 games in Eurocup where he recorded 4.7ppg, 1.1rpg and 1.9apg.The previous (18-19) season Filloy played at Scandone Avellino. In 32 Serie A games he averaged 8.7ppg, 3.8rpg and 4.1apg. He also played 14 games in Basketball Champions League where he got 9.2ppg, 3.9rpg, 3.3apg and 1.2spg.Filloy has been also a member of Italian international program for some years. He has regularly played for Italian senior team since 2017 and previously for U20 National Team back in 2007.Filloy represented Italy at the European Championships three years ago. His stats at that event were 7 games: 9.3ppg, 2.0rpg, 2.0apg, FGP: 61.1%, 3PT: 41.9%.Filloy has spent his entire career in Italy playing for eight other teams: Pistoia, Grissin Bon RE, Trieste, Rimini Crabs, Cervia, Scafati, Vanoli Cremona and Porto Torres.The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Filloy won Italian SerieA championship title in 2017. He was also voted Eurobasket.com All-Italian SerieA Honorable Mention back in 2017.
