Angelico Biella (Italian Serie A2) landed 31-year old naturalized Argentinian guard Ariel Svoboda . He started the season at Basket Scauri, the newcomer in Serie B. In 17 games he averaged 14.7ppg, 2.8rpg and 2.2apg. Part of last season Svoboda spent at Castellano Cerignola (Serie C Silver). He also played at Robur Basket Osimo (Serie C Silver) earlier that season. The previous (13-14) season Svoboda played at Treviso Basket. In 10 Serie A2 games he had 8.2ppg, 3.1rpg and 1.2apg in 2013-14 season.
In 12-13 season he played at Lighthouse Conad Trapani. He helped them to make it to the group semifinals. Svoboda won Italian Nazionale C Group I championship title in 2012.He has played previously professionally in Argentina (Ferrocarril Oeste Capital Federal) and Italy (Latina Basket and La Briosa Barcellona).
