Atomeromu SE Paks (A Division) tabbed 31-year old Montenegrin ex-international forward Zarko Rakocevic . He played most recently at Rilski in Bulgarian NBL league. In 21 games he averaged impressive 16.3ppg, 7.0rpg, 2.2apg and 1.5bpg last season. He helped them to make it to the semifinals. He can count that season as a very successful as was selected to Eurobasket.com All-Bulgarian League 3rd Team. Rakocevic also played 10 games in Balkan League where he was fifth best scorer with remarkable 15.4ppg and recorded 7.6rpg, 1.7apg and 1.0bpg. A very impressive season as he was awarded Eurobasket.com All-Balkan League Forward of the Year and selected to 1st Team. He also played at Muharraq (Premier League) in Bahrain that season. In 21 games he was fifth best scorer with high stats: 16.3ppg and averaged 7.0rpg and 2.2apg.
The previous (13-14) season Rakocevic played at Egis Kormend. In 33 A Division games he had high stats: 19.5ppg, 8.6rpg, 1.8apg, 1.6spg and 2.0bpg in 2013-14 season. He can count that year as a very successful as was awarded Eurobasket.com All-Hungarian League Bosman Player of the Year, selected to 1st Team and selected to All-Bosmans Team. He also played 6 games in EuroChallenge where he was third best scorer with high stats: 17.5ppg and averaged 7.0rpg (#4 in the league), 1.5apg, 1.2spg and 1.2bpg in 2013-14 season.
In 12-13 season Rakocevic played at Zepter Vienna (A Bundesliga) in Austrian league. In 15 games he had high stats: 16.6ppg, 5.5rpg, 1.3apg and 1.1bpg in 2012-13 season. He contributed to his team making it to the cup final. The most of previous (11-12) season Rakocevic spent at Lugano Tigers (LNA) in Swiss league. In 20 games he had 12.0ppg, 7.9rpg, 1.2apg and 1.0bpg in 2011-12 season. He contributed to his team winning the league title and the cup. The other team he played shortly was Valencia Basket (Liga Endesa) in Spanish league. Rakocevic also played 1 game in Eurocup where he recorded high stats: 20 points, 13 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and 4 blocks in 2011-12 season. He represented Montenegro at the Arab Club Championships last year.
Rakocevic is a very experienced player. He has played also professionally in Bosnia (Bosna-Royal and Igokea), Serbia (Partizan), Ukraine (Khimik and Cherkasy) and Montenegro (Gorstak).
