Bakic and Dundjerski shine in Serbia

Saturday night was a big night for our players in Serbia, Bojan Bakic and Slobodan Dundjerski, who both led their teams to victory.
Bojan Bakic helped Metalac to defeat Tamis 69-65. The hosts were already 11 points ahead at halftime and as many as 16 after three quarters before a 25-13 last quarter charge of Tamis cut the lead to 69-65 at the end of the game.
The Montenegrin 6'5 guard, Bojan Bakic collected 21 points (made all of his eight free throws). Metalac moved-up to third place, which they share with 4 other teams. Their next round opponent will be Meridiana NS (#12) in Novi Sad.
The game with biggest result difference took place in Uzice where local Sloboda lost to third ranked FMP 94-82. The game was mostly controlled by FMP. Sloboda was better in fourth quarter 22-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening.
Guard Slobodan Dundjerski notched 20 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort.
FMP have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 6-4 record having just two points less than leader Crnokosa, which they share with 4 other teams. FMP's next round opponent will be bottom-ranked Sloga in Kraljevo.
