Balkan Botevgrad (NBL) inked 20-year old small forward Tencho Tenchev. He was most recently at the Bulgaria U-20 national team, which played in the Bulgarian NBL. In 25 games he recorded 11.1ppg, 3.7rpg, 1.6apg and 1.2spg last season. Tenchev also played for Overgas in the domestic Juniors U-20 League.
The previous season (11-12) he played at Crabs Rimini in the Italian Nazionale B league. Tenchev has had a good career for the Bulgarian national youth teams. He received a Eurobasket.com All-European Championships U18 Division B Honorable Mention award in 2011. He represented Bulgaria at the U-20 European Championships in Tallinn (Estonia) this year.
