We are thrilled to announce that Barbara Zieniewska has been confirmed to continue with Athena-UMFK Reykjavik in the Iceland Subway League. Barbara had an impressive season last year, averaging 16.7 points, 11.8 rebounds, and 4.2 steals per game in Iceland's D1 league. Her outstanding performance was crucial in securing Athena's promotion to the Subway League for the 2024/25 season. With her strong defensive skills and consistent scoring, she was named to the Eurobasket.com All-Icelandic Division I First Team and helped her team secure the Icelandic D1 Playoff Championship. We are excited to see her continue her stellar performance in the Subway League.
