Austrian team BC Vienna decided to confirm their head coach, the well known Italian Luigi Gresta, renewing his contract for another two years.
"I'm really glad for the renewal of this bond with Vienna up to 2020" said Coach Gresta. "There's no greatest victory that being appreciated for your work by your club and your players. Danke!"
Luigi is not new in Austria, especially in Vienna as he first joined Traiskirchen Lions in 2017, and BC Vienna shortly after.
But 'Gigio' is widely known in Europe for his Italian career where he's been chief at Vanoli Cremona (Italy, Serie A) for nearly two seasons. He has previously helmed top teams such as Scafati, Matera, Cremona, Veroli, and Jesi, team whit which he won the Lega2 championship in 2004, being also named All-Italian Lega2 Coach of the Year.
