One of the most remarkable performances in last round's games of Portuguese LPB was 28-year old American guard George Beamon of CAB Madeira. Beamon impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 34 points and 10 rebounds.
Beamon is a newcomer at CAB Madeira and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 21.9ppg (#1). He also registered 5.8 boards per game.
