Portuguese top team Benfica decided to reinforce its roster by signing the Trinidad and Tobago player Chervelle Cox. Chervelle is a power forward/center that played college basketball at Central State University, shere she graduated in 2019. On her senior year in 2019 she averaged 11.3ppg and 8.6 rpg. On her rookie season she moved to spain, playing for Ausarta Barakaldo in LF2. Then she gained experience abroad in teams such as North Gold Coast Seahawks (Australia-NBL1 North), Dadolle ASPTT Dijon (France-NF2) and Bashkimi Prizren (Kosova-Superleague) where she started the current season
