Mugello circuit hosted two amazing races last weekends, race 9 and race 10 of the Italian CIV Supersport 300. On Saturday Luca Bernardi stepped on the third step of the podium, earning crucial points for the championship standings.
But it was on Sunday that Luca proved his potential. He dashed from the starting line, grabbing the lead position from the first minute. After a small step back in the fifth lap, Luca took back the first place right away, keeping it until the checkered flag was waving.
“I feel very happy about this victory” said Bernardi. “I felt comfortable with my bike. It wasn't an easy race, but I pushed hard for the whole 12 laps and I took the third victory in four races. I need to earn 24 points in two races, but everything can happen. We need to believe and to give our best as we did as up today. Thanks to my team, my family and my sponsors that helped me a lot.”
