Besancon sign Aaron Falzon
Besancon Avenir Comtois Basket (NM1) inked 28-year old American (has also Maltese passport) 203cm forward Aaron Falzon (college: Quinnipiac, agency: Interperformances) for the upcoming season. He is the second import player in the roster as Luxembourg Ben Kovac signed here earlier. He played most recently at Tachikawa Dice in the Japanese B3 League. He has been a member of the Maltese international program for some years. He has regularly played for the Maltese senior team since 2018 and previously for the Under 16 National Team in 2011.
Falzon also represented Malta at the Games of the Small States of Europe in Malta last year. Falzon's team won Silver and he had over 3 ppg.
He is a very experienced player, having played professionally in Austria (Arkadia Lions), the United Kingdom (Leicester Riders), France (Etoile Angers), and The Basketball Tournament (YGC).
His team won the British BBL Regular Season in 2021.
He graduated from Quinnipiac University in 2020 and it'll be his fifth season in pro basketball. Falzon played also for Northwestern University for 4 years.
