Biancoblù Bologna inks 2-year deal with Djordje Drenovac

Biancoblù Basket Bologna, on behalf of all members, is pleased to announce the signature of  a two-year agreement with the talented young Serbian Djordje Drenovac.

Born August 9, 1992 in Belgrade, Djordje Drenovac is a 6'7” guard / small forward with an amazing technique and court vision. He played his first professional season in 2008/2009, Djordje was only 16 years old, started in  11 games with 1.5 points per game with Arkadia Traiskirchen Lions, one of the top teams in the Austrian Bundesliga A. The following season, always with Arkadia, he began to play more regularly, 39 games at 8.3 ppg and 3 rpg, improved further in 2010/2011 with 13.4 ppg and 4.3 rpg in 32 games. The previous season was the year of his consecration in the Austrian Bundesliga, which was his fourth consecutive season with the Lions: 25 games with 23 points per game, 4.6 rebounds and 2 assists. Has been member of the Serbian national team since the age of  16.  In 2011 won the silver medal at the U19 World Championship in Latvia.
