Neptunas claimed somewhat a surprising road win over ambitious Besiktas in the seventh round of EuroCup regular season. Martynas Mazeika scored 17 points, collecting also 6 rebounds, 2 assists and one steal as the Klaipeda injected life in their European campaign.  They improved at 3-4 record dropping Besiktas at 5-2 in Group H. Neptunas fired 21 points in the first period and accumulated a 5-point lead. The Lithuanian team stayed ahead in the second term. Neptunas accounted for a comfortable 40:34 halftime lead. Neptunas did not allow Besiktas to recover after the big break. Neptunas stayed in charge as they built a 59:48 advantage at the final break. Besiktas scored 26 points in the final period but just sweetened the pill at the end.
