33-year old center Sylvere Bryan put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Roseto and he's been named A2 Silver Player of the Week award for round 18. He had a double-double of 22 points and 14 rebounds, while his team beat Tortona 90-78. Roseto maintains the 13th position in Italian A2 Silver. It was one of impressive evenings for Bryan. University of Tampa graduate has very impressive stats this year. Bryan is in league's top in rebounds (7th best: 9.2rpg) and averages solid 1.1bpg and 53.5% FGP.
Forward Jeremy Simmons of Scafati had also a great week. Simmons scored 17 points and grabbed ten rebounds. He was a key player of Scafati, leading his team to a 90-68 easy win against the higher-ranked Treviso Basket. Simmons has a great season in Italy. After 17 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 16.6ppg (9th best) and rebounds with 9.6rpg (5th best).
